1.2 MW Solar Power Plant in Podilsk
The 1.2 MW commercial solar power plant in Podilsk was delivered as a full-cycle EPC project — from assessing the initial conditions and engineering to commissioning and arranging the plant’s operation under the feed-in tariff.
Alteco managed the technical, construction and regulatory aspects of the project through to the facility’s commercial operation.

Solution
The project was delivered under an EPC model. Alteco handled the engineering, procurement and construction, testing and commissioning of the plant, as well as the procedures required to begin commercial power generation.
Preparation and Design
The team assessed the existing site and the previously issued technical connection requirements, created a 3D model of the future solar power plant and prepared scopes of work for geological and geodetic surveys.
The plant’s design and cost documentation was then developed, including the monitoring and video surveillance systems.
Supply, Installation and Commissioning
Technical specifications for the supply of equipment and materials were prepared for the manufacturers.
Alteco organised delivery, quality control and on-site acceptance, and carried out the electrical installation and installation supervision, testing, commissioning and equipment setup.
Commercial Power Generation
After technical commissioning, the project completed the regulatory stage: a power generation licence and feed-in tariff were obtained, and electricity transmission and metering agreements were prepared with NPC Ukrenergo and the Guaranteed Buyer.
The facility first entered trial operation and then commercial operation.
Results
The 1.2 MW solar power plant was commissioned for commercial operation.
A power generation licence and feed-in tariff were secured for the facility, and the agreements required for the transmission, metering and sale of the electricity generated were prepared.
