201 kW Solar Power Plant for the Kryshtaleve Dzherelo Health Resort
A 201 kW rooftop solar power plant was installed to offset the Kryshtaleve Dzherelo health resort’s own electricity consumption.
The plant operates without exporting electricity to the external grid: the electricity generated is used on site, while the control system adjusts the plant’s output to the current load.

Project Objective
To install a rooftop solar power plant that would cover part of the health resort’s own electricity consumption without exporting surplus electricity to the external grid.
Solution
Alteco installed a grid-tied solar power plant with zero-export control.
The project included a pre-design assessment, design, equipment and material supply, construction and commissioning, remote monitoring, maintenance and warranty support.
Modelling and Panel Layout
A 3D model of the building was created to calculate shading, determine the precise panel layout and optimise electrical connections.
The panels were arranged facing east, south and west to reduce the daily generation peak and increase the plant’s average output throughout the day. A raised-tilt mounting system was used on the roof slope with a slight northern orientation.
Equipment and Roof Adaptation
The project uses 540 W Mono-Si, MBB, Half-Cell, PERC modules, Huawei SUN2000-50KTL and SUN2000-100KTL inverters, and fixed anodised aluminium mounting structures.
Wind and snow loads on the roof were considered during design. Special fasteners and sealant were used to waterproof the roof penetrations.
Zero-Export Generation Control
The Huawei / ETI control system was configured to match the health resort’s consumption profile.
The system supplies the local load with solar electricity and reduces the plant’s output when demand falls, preventing electricity from being exported to the external grid. The plant was commissioned after completion of the work.
Result
The 201 kW solar power plant was commissioned.
Estimated generation is 191,162 kWh per year. The electricity generated is used for the health resort’s own needs, while the zero-export control system prevents electricity from being exported to the external grid.
